Our Mission Statement

The Park Synagogue Education Department provides a Jewish education for children Pre-Kindergarten through High School. We strive to instill a love and respect for Judaism and its Mitzvot in our children. The school provides the setting for students to acqure the ability to participate in services, observe holidays and have an understanding of what it means to be a Jew in the past, present and future.

Our Educational Vision

We are a center for learning and engagement rooted in values derived from the Torah with the following goals:

To create a community that values lifelong learning.

To instill a positive Jewish identity in the students.

To engage students in Jewish education and practices as the primary means of perpetuating Jewish identity.

To develop a sense of responsibility for the State of Israel and the worldwide Jewish Community.

To teach the skills necessary to practice Judaism in accordance with the Conservative Jewish Movement.

To impart to the students a knowledge of our heritage and tradition through exploration of biblical texts.

To involve students in Shabbat observance as a central element of Jewish life.

To cultivate within each student a positive attitude and pride towards his/her Religious School experience.
