A Magical Havdalah, Saturday, November 9
Over 100 people enjoyed a magical Havdalah at the Nature Center at Shaker Lakes. Sponsored by the Wolf Religious School, kids and adults alike enjoyed a nice dinner, spice sachets, an incredible magic show and a moving Havdalah service.
Olive Pressing
More than 350 pre-K through 7th grade students and Madrichim of Park Synagogue’s Wolf Religious School tried their hand at pressing oil from olives using a large press made in Israel. Each child participated in the three main steps of olive pressing: crushing…squishing…and after loading the mixture into burlap bags, pressing with a very heavy weight. The oil that seeped out was collected in a cruse that each child took home to use in their Chanukiah.

Dinner and a Concert
Park Senior Adults and the B'nai Jeshurun's Hazak groups enjoyed a delightful dinner and the show, "Blue Skies."
